Ready to take the next step towards work? If you're aged 18-24 and have been receiving a benefit for three months or more, our fully funded employment programme can help you build confidence, gain valuable skills and connect with opportunities that lead to long-term employment.
Whether you're just starting your employment journey or facing barriers to finding work, we'll work alongside you to create a personalised pathway that suits your goals, strengths and circumstances. Through one-on-one coaching, training opportunities, practical support and connections with employers, we'll help you move confidently towards sustainable employment.
From your first assessment through to ongoing support once you're in work, we're here every step of the way.

How we can help

This fully funded programme offers:
- Personalised needs assessment to identify barriers, strengths and employment goals
- An individual employment plan tailored to your needs and aspirations
- One-on-one coaching to build confidence, motivation and job readiness
- Targeted CV development, interview preparation and job application support
- Training and upskilling, including support for licences, certificates and qualifications
- Connections to local and national employers through our established networks
- Support to secure sustainable employment and long-term career success
- Ongoing post-placement support for up to 12 months to help you stay in work
If you're receiving a main benefit from Work and Income, you may be eligible.
Eligibility criteria
Youth‑focused support for rangatahi aged 18–24 years, with tailored pathways based on individual needs.
This programme is funded by Ministry of Social Development and is subject to eligibility.
Work Ready
Full time work obligated and on the benefit for more than three months.
Work Preparation
Full time work obligated and on the benefit for more than 12 months.
Health Conditions
Part time time work obligated and on the benefit for more than three months.
