What to expect at your appointment
Appointments take up to 30 minutes and typically consist of:
- Your therapist asking questions to understand your injury, pain or discomfort
- A physical assessment to understand the cause of the issue and help provide a diagnosis
- Treatment and education
- A tailored recovery and prevention plan, with recommendations for further actions
As part of your treatment and recovery, your physiotherapist will provide ways to manage your pain and discomfort and some education on preventing and managing any ongoing symptoms.
Some APM physiotherapists have additional experience in the treatment and support of specific issues, such as pelvic health or disordered breathing.
These have slightly different booking processes, and appointment lengths may vary. Get in touch for more information on what's available in your region.
